Pop up the Green

Installation · Bristol, UK · 2014

In Bristol city centre, the Edwardian Cloakrooms, a former public convenience still intact, have been reborn as an exhibition space.

For this installation, sinks and toilets became plant pots, exploring new forms of coexistence between plants and domestic spaces. The intervention offers a fresh perspective on the place, turning its greenery into a cultural space and renegotiating the boundaries between nature and the city.

There is something nostalgic about nature reclaiming a space.
